bullet

bullet

A tournament web site will be maintained to facilitate communication about the tournament.  The address is CUSLsoccer/InSeason .The site should be checked regularly.

 Bracketing

bullet

At least two competitive flights will be established in each age/gender group (depending on the number of teams that register).

bullet

As part of the registration process, teams will specify their preference for flights (i.e. upper, middle, lower).   The tournament director will attempt to honor each team’s placement request.  However, some adjustments may be needed to insure that no scheduling problems will exist.

bullet

A blind draw will be used to determine each team’s placement on the tournament grid.  No team will play its first match against a team from the same club.  Opponents will be redrawn if that occurs.

bullet

The tournament grids and all applicable tournament information will be posted on the Tournament Web Site.  It will be updated throughout the tournament.

Scheduling

bullet

Matches must be completed by the deadline established for each round.  Failure to do so will result in a double forfeit.  If in a preliminary round, the winner/loser will be determined by random draw.

bullet

For Preliminary Rounds, teams must agree on a mutually acceptable playing date and time as early as possible.  The higher team on the tournament grid is the home team and is responsible for obtaining a field and referees.  If the “home” team is unable to secure a field or refs for the agreed-upon date, then the “visiting” team will host the match.

bullet

Round 2 and quarterfinal matches will be scheduled by the tournament director on Saturday, October 11 at a predetermined location.

bullet

Semifinals and final matches will be played Saturday, October 11 or Sunday, October 12 at a predetermined location.

 Reporting

The winning team must report the results of the match via the tournament web site the same day the match was completed.
