Welcome to the in-season tournament of the Cincinnati United Soccer League.

Tournament weekend has arrived!

As of 10:45 Saturday, all games will be played as scheduled.

However, there is still the possibility scattered thunderstorms.

If lightning is seen or thunder is observed, all subsequent games will be delayed.

Check each venue's field hotline for updates throughout the day:

Stephanie Hummer Park - 513-981-7599

Posey-Hartman Field      - 513-736-4289

Joyce Park                         - 513-588-6720

If there are any delays, some late Saturday games might be pushed over to Sunday morning.

This could affect the Sunday schedule as well - so recheck the tournament grids.

Note that the site director at each venue has total flexibility in adjusting the schedule due to weather delays.  This includes shortening games, relocating games at the same venue, eliminating the overtime period and going straight to penalty kicks.

P.S.  Winning teams are reminded to post their score at this website.

Registrations are being accepted - but only for brackets with an odd number of teams or to replace teams that withdraw from the tournament.

To be added to a waiting list,  Click on Registration.

Note the following:

Contact your opponent NOW.  Don't wait until you return from Spring Break.

Schedule your first match NOW.  There will be tournaments, rainouts, makeup games, scouts, baseball, softball, and business trips to work around.  The deadline is shown in the top column.  Do NOT ask for an extension.

The upper team in each pairing is the Home team and is responsible for securing fields and referees.

If the "Home" team cannot secure a site, play at the "Visitors" location.

No one is eliminated after the first match.

Each game must have a winner.  There are no ties.  Take along a copy of the tie-breaker rules to your match.

Good luck.  And have fun!

SCHEDULE YOUR FIRST GAME NOW.

Everyone has one play-in game that MUST be played by the date at the top of the column in your grid.  It is up to the teams involved to arrange a mutually acceptable date.  The top team in each pairing is the Home team and is responsible for obtaining a field and referees.

THERE WILL BE NO EXTENSIONS.

On April 26, the schedules will be finalized.  If a score has not been posted, the tournament director will randomly determine the winner/loser of the first round.  Allow time for spring break conflicts, rainouts, etc.  If the home team cannot supply a field and refs, play at the visitor's site.  Remember, no one is eliminated after the first game.

Games on May 3 and May 4 will be played at predetermined sites as determined by the tournament director.  Game times and field locations for these games will be added to the grids by late September. These games may not be preplayed.

No guest players are permitted.

Teams may request to play UP an age group - but only to a comparable sized format.  6v6 teams may not play up to 8v8.  8v8 teams cannot play 11v11.

Each team will play at least two games.

The winning team is responsible for reporting scores.  (Use the "Scores" link on the left navigation bar).

Questions should be directed to the tournament director.  Make sure you indicate age, gender, flight, and team name.

But read the following first!

Who schedules the matches?

Preliminary rounds, if needed, will be scheduled by the teams involved.  The higher team in each pairing is the home team and is responsible for obtaining a field and referees.  Games must be completed by the specified date.

        Schedule your first match soon!

Second and quarterfinal rounds will be scheduled by the tournament director on Saturday, October 13 at a predetermined location.

Semi-final and final matches will be played Saturday, October 13 or Sunday, October 14 at a predetermined location.

How are scores posted?

The WINNING team will report scores by using the BOYS SCORES or GIRLS SCORES navigation button from the tournament page  -- not the posting procedure for league matches.

Notes about Odd-numbered brackets

The home team for game #98 will play the loser of game #11.  Schedule that match as soon as possible with BOTH of the teams in game #11.

The LOSING team advances to game #99 ONLY if the specified team (i.e. the home team for game #98) has lost.

Game #99 will not be played if the specified team won game #98.  The home team for game #99 will advance to the next round instead.
